Now That You Mention It....
I never realised that I actually LOVE my job. Because I think if you hate something there's must be somewhere a tiny bit of love as tiny as a grain of sand otherwise you just wouldn't mind (or notice) And so I do mind my job, I want it to go as smoothly as it can on days where rushes means having to do 15miles inside a 100ft store (I don't know if my analogy is right here -or even if the word analogy here works out-), I want to give the best service I can to every customers (putting an extra effort for the ones with the frowns) and caring for every of my collegues. When none of those (or even just one) doesn't work out, I feel bad. I have to say for this short entry, that I know that day I will have to leave that workplace I'll have a big hole in my heart....

Well Trying Was Worth It
Long time no see, here's a little entry:
I had a great time in French Guyana! I thought I would get bored, I didn't know what my planning would be so I figured that I would be left all alone every night. Well, I got taken care off every single minute! I met so many people, done great things and seen wonderful landscapes. I was real glad to have agreed to partake in this trip.
About work: stuff happened when my mom left. Almost got ugly. Now it's like we are on water but we all know there's something under and we are too afraid to do anything but wait for 'it' to come out...hmm...I don't know how this will end. But the new girl is not that bad, I figure she needs some time to adjust herself (and vice versa)
I did the hours left on my contract for the lab, and now I am doing some free stuff for another lab....and today hasn't proved me wrong about my choice of going with environmental archaeology...I was suppose to do some 'remontage' which is taking all the small pieces of ceramic and putting them together...well I just couldn't find any pieces that could fit together....bummer...but I am willing to try another day!! ;o)
School is about to start in a week and I am real happy to meeting the 'new' friends I made back in May-June on the school digging thing...I hope it's going to be ok, like there's not going to be any coldness between us....(I did get the Guyana job and they didn't.... )
Alright
Cote de Pablo has an amazing voice and speaks french beautifully....
And now I am off to watching some NCIS

La st-jean baptiste
Wow, so something happened totally unexpected...but usually stuff happen unexpectedly otherwise it's just not fun. My friend Justine emailed me a day before the 24th of June (St-jean baptiste - Quebec's day-) asking me if I had anything planned, I didn't so Tetia, Ju and I went out (all night long) drinking, partying outside wishing quebec an happy birthday. I met a guy so ramdomly! Let's make it quick: we clicked and I invited him over (WOW). --I NEVER do THAT, just to let you know-- It was crazy but it felt good. The guy and I spent a good deal of the day after around together and then he left (So now the question is: What will happen)
Well I am still not sure and I am NOT rushing things and also NOT worrying about it. I have NOT fallen in love (so that's a good deal for me lol) and I just hope I'll get to speak with the guy eventually so we can get to know each other (and see what could happen from then on) The whole thing is quite new to me and totally suprising considering that I thought I wasn't that kinda person LOL
Other subject: seems like my roomate is not liking my ways around the house (and of course it is ALL my fault) MAN!!! I don't think I'll be able to handle it quite nicely if she keeps on pushing me around, like she was perfect...she just keeps on rubbing on my face stuff that merely means nothing to me (and what choice to I have to just nod and smile, right?) --I do realise that buying 4 rolls (of toilet paper) instead of 24 can be quite a bummer...for some one who is not sane!!-- WOW. I am out of words! I just don't get it. Whatever, right?
Other subject: I am leaving for French Guyana in about more than a week. I am off doing some archaeology for 3 weeks!!! CRA-ZY. I was so happy getting this opportunity!
About this: I have to leave off here because I need to make a list of stuff to bring for that trip!

I Could Say (Random)
Yes, I am alive, I just don't get inspirations from time to time...juste like at this moment, but I thought it would be good to babble on something.
I have to tell you that I finally found a place to stay (My house was sold real quickly --in the sense that the visit was on saturday and by the afternoon my parents were signing the offer), so I am staying over to my friend's flat close to the University in about 2 weeks (no boxes yet...) and my other friend (the one I was supposebly room-mates with in July) is going to come too! Crazy, first time I go into this rommy thing and I get to do it with 2 of my friends from school. It should be interesting!
School is about to end (about 3 weeks). And then, I have this crazy archaeology school-dig. 5 weeks of digging in QC downtown. WOW. That's going to be promising! I am a bit nervous but more excited, I will be with friends (and other people that I wonder what will happen with them IE: K and S, oh well...can't be real bad?!?!!)
Other than that...I got into a 'fight' with a long time friend, she hasn't spoke to me since...won't make the first steps that's for sure!
I took German class this session, I LOVE IT!
Jason Mraz...wow...need to see that guy in a show!
and nothing about any love stuff...oh welll
I'll get into something deeper next time!!
see ya

You be the Prom Queen
Kings of Leon: WOW
I hate when I get sick on work days, yeah I'm kinda that person. Actually the problem is that my mom has to 'pay' for that...she's my boss. So she took my shift and now I feel real bad, and so since this afternoon....It'll pass. Sometimes I find myself a really 'weird' person!
Besides that, my friend got some news about our little digging trip this summer and really it looks like we are going to be just us two AND that we won't even be together for the ride! I am slightly on 'princess' mood and I don't feel like sleeping for 2 months in a tent, camping in some hot/humid terrain...nahhh, just not my thing...so, I am looking *mostly waiting the mail* for another place. I know there are many other opportunities digging elsewhere, and that might still be near the Mediterranean sea. I had pretty much made up my mind, but that camping thing just confirms it. I won't go to those southern France prehistoric caves...no, NOT FOR ME...
And I just want to add, I am ready to sleep on some hard matresses (I did that pretty much the entire 9 weeks in China) and couple more weeks in London...I just want walls, a shower and a bathroom (with a toilet!!! *thinks about China...hmmmm*) I just don't want to spend 2 months in the same 'place' with no intimity whatsoever...I need space and some alone-time!!
It saddens me though, not to be able to spend the summer with that friend (my soon-to-be flat sharing partner!) and I think that she might follow me (for the bad reasons...like I don't want to be alone...hmm...) It'd be wonderful though, to be able to meet at some point...thing that I always wanted to do..you meet someone from your country (that you previously know!)
I stop here, quickly
I'll continue an another time

You just loved mornings in China
Don't listen to Jason Mraz, it'll make you blue...I don't know why actually...I didn't listen to any of his songs while I was out and about this summer (in China that is) *shrugs* This is truly odds! Oh well, I might as well get along with it -this nostalgic feel- (Pointless Nostalgic as a certain jazz singer will put it --Jamie Cullum) I can't shed it, that damned feeling. Why does it have to follow me around ?? Ok, I am not worrying about it, I am mostly joking around here. I do feel blue (even though that wonderful summer has been long passed) but it doesn't prevent me from doing anything else...ohhh wait that is almost true...my friend from MTL is around the city and I didn't even called her...but then, it is not really because of my 'feelings' but mostly of my long day at work. See, I work in this children's clothing store and well, I don't know if it's because of the economy problems we hear about every day on the news, but sometimes it can get pretty....booo-ring. And what's worse than a crowdy day? A day there is no customers whatsover...it's tiring me out even more...and got to say it always bums me out too!
So...I (just love the guitar on 'Live High' - Jason M) am still preparing my trip for this summer and I think it might be going to be a loner...but I won't mind..I'd like to try it (completely alone in a country that I don't -previously-know...I.E: London 07) It looks like I'm going to choose a place different from my friends (and this, is not official so, there is a possibility that I will 'end' up with my friends) Let me explain: A friend of a friend (that I am getting to know) went to do some archaeology digging last summer, to some real cool place in the south of France. Giving the context, she had 2 months where her expanses were close to none...if I can get the same 'treatement' elsewhere (that is, anywhere in France) I might choose another place, like some medieval castle (that'd be nice!!) So, let's say that I won't be close-minded as to the place I'll be for my next summer....
AND, I'm looking to do some travelling too while being in the European continent, I want (of course) to go see London, once more! And maybe make a short stop in Berlin to see some crazy museum Perganum Museum...*drools*
I've taken in some German class, could be useful! Alright!!! Speaking of which, I have to go to sleep soon, to wake up something early (yes it's Sunday tomorrow...) to demystify some german for my Monday class!!
tschuss (or so I think)
--goodbye--
